Raji Ahmed
Born and raised in the lap of the mighty mountains of Karakoam and Hindu Kush in Gilgit, Raji is a passionate traveller who has traveled Pakistan extensively, from the high mountains in the north to the lowlands in the south and all the way to the Arabian Sea. Raji has been working as a freelance tour guide since 2006 and has led countless trips covering history, culture and archaeological sites, especially mountain tours, safaris, treks and expeditions.

In 2013, he started his own travel company (UAT), which expanded to Indonesia in 2022.
Raji is a big proponent of girls' education and women's empowerment. He has established two institutions for girls in Minawar village, a conservative place where girls' education has been neglected. These two projects are the Outliers Secondary School for underprivileged girls (2010) and the Rotary Sewing Center (2018), both of which aim to empower women through fair access to education and sewing skills.
