Overview
We will spend our first week in the mountains and colorful cities of Gilgit -Baltistan, including the beautiful Hunza Valley. Explore the Himalayas, the Hindukush, the Pamirs and the Karakorum’s, and drive along the Karakoram Highway over the world’s highest paved border crossing — the Khunjerab Pass — into China. In Kashgar, visit the ancient market, where 100,000 Uyghur gather to sell and trade.
Kashgar or Kashi is an oasis city with approximately 350,000 residents in the western part of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China. Kashgar is the administrative centre of Kashgar Prefecture which has an area of 162,000 km² and a population of approximately 3.5 million. The city covers an area of 15 km². The altitude averages 1,289.5 m/4,282 ft. above sea level. The city is located in the western extreme of China.

Arrive at Islamabad international airport, meet great and transfer to hotel for a briefing. We take you out for a short tour around the capital city if your arrival is during the day.
Breakfast at hotel and visit capital City of Pakistan Islamabad including Faisal Mosque (if not on previous day) and then drive to Abbottabad, en route visit ancient city of Taxila including Taxila Museum best collection of Gahanran Arts. Sirkap city ruins from 2nd century BC to 2nd century AD, Julian Buddhist. Lunch at Taxila later proceed to Abbottabad on arrival at Abbottabad Dinner at restaurant and transfer to hotel for overnight.
Breakfast at hotel and resume the journey on Karakoram Highway (8th wonder of the world) through remote valleys of Kohistan along the mighty Indus river, en route visit Shatail Rock carving from Buddhist period (6th century AD to 8th Century AD).
Lunch at Besham then continue to Chilas, on arrival at Chilas transfer to hotel for overnight.
Breakfast at hotel and drive to Gilgit, en route visit Chilas Rock carving from Buddhist period of 6th century AD to 8th century AD , Next stop at Thalchi to see beautiful view of Nanga Parbat (8125M) , Haramosh (7409M) and Rakaposhi (7788M), and then visit Junction point of three mighty mountains Ranges the Karakorum , the Himalayas and the Hindukush, later proceed to Gilgit.
On arrival at Gilgit transfer to restaurant for Lunch after lunch visit Kargah Buddha, Gilgit old bridge and Bazaar then transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at hotel and drive to Karimabad Hunza, en route stop to see continental Collision- old Silk Route and Rakaposhi view point for the lunch, later proceed to Karimabad Hunza on arrival at Hunza Visit 700 years Baltit fort and local bazaar.

Morning take an excursion to Hoper glacier by (4×4 Jeeps) hike to view point to see Hoper glacier, Lunch at Hoper valley then back to Karimabad visit 900 Years old Fort and Altit village, later drive uphill to Duikar village to catch the twilights of sunset and sweeping views of Hunza valley from high above.

Breakfast at hotel and drive to Sost – the last town of Pakistan on the Karakoram highway before move to cross the border, en route stop at Ganish rock carving , newly fomed Attaabad Lake and suspension bridge. Lunch stop will be made at Passu with close up view of famous Passu Cones peaks and Passu glacier. Later proceed to Sost town and transfer to hotel overnight.
Early Breakfast at hotel and move to immigration and custom office, after clearance we switch to different Bus and drive over Khunjerab Pass (4733M) to Taxkhorgan.
On arrival at Taxkhorgan, after cleared with immigration and custom formalities transfer to hotel for overnight.
Drive about 6 hours along the last stretch of the Karakorum Highway today. The scenery is stunningly different from the Pakistan side. High altitude pastures stretches into the horizon and in a distance; you can catch glimpses of the Taklamakan Desert. En route stop to see Karakul Lake , Muztagata Peak and Khungar Shan later proceed to Kashgar on arrival transfer to hotel.
Kashgar – the name itself evoke all the romantic images of the Silk Road. Old Kashgar is still filled with narrow alleys and ancient buildings while roadside artisan and donkey carts are still typical scenes.
Catch the Sunday market, one of the most fascinating sights in Asia. With people, thousands of donkeys, sheep and camels, people shouting as they trade all items imaginable, it’s indeed a mind boggling experience. Later visit Visit Abakh Hoja Tomb, the city mosque.
